About the Levels of Government in
Western Australia
Nationwide, the government is broken
down into 3 levels; Commonwealth (or Federal) Government,
State/Territory Government and Local Government. Every level is in
charge of it's particular industrial relations so they accordingly
regulate and hire their work force on their own. Every level of
government and exactly how they recruit is described in more detail
following.
The
Commonwealth (or Federal) Government deploys
laws produced by the Federal Parliament. The Federal Government's
obligations are determined in the Australian Constitution and
fundamentally incorporate countrywide concerns, like industry and
commerce, currency, immigration, defence, telecommunications and
welfare. The Commonwealth Government is headed by a Prime Minister.
Commonwealth Government agencies can be found in all areas of
Australia, within both urban and non-urban regions.
An index of Commonwealth Government departments and agencies
is readily available here.
All permanent and several non-permanent vacancies are
announced openly on this website.
The
State Government is responsible for things, for
instance like police, schools, roads, hospitals, public housing and
business regulation.A fairly comparable framework to the Commonwealth
Government is noticed in the State Government, which is headed by a
Premier. Positions in the State Government are located
throughout Western Australia with the bulk located in Perth.
A listing of the government's departments and agencies can be
found here.
All permanent plus some temporary opportunities are
publicised widely on this
website.
Local
governments help the state and are normally in the form of
a council or shire. Local governments are accountable for town
planning, building works, local roads, parking, water and sewerage,
waste disposal, domestic animals and community facilities. A council is
headed by a Mayor. Local government office buildings are positioned in
every council or shire in the state.
