About the Levels of Government in
South Australia
Australia's government is separated
down into three levels; Commonwealth (or Federal) Government,
State/Territory Government and Local Government. Each level accounts
for it's own personal industrial relations so they subsequently
coordinate and hire their labourforce individually. Each level of
government and how they recruit is described in greater detail
following.
The
Commonwealth (or Federal) Government The Commonwealth (or
Federal) Government deploys legislation produced by the Federal
Parliament. The Commonwealth Government's responsibilities are
determined in the Australian Constitution and chiefly embody
countrywide matters, for example industry and commerce, currency,
immigration, defence, telecommunications and welfare. The Commonwealth
Government is headed by the Prime Minister. Commonwealth Government
divisions can be found almost everywhere in Australia, within urban and
non-urban areas.
An index of Commonwealth Government departments and agencies
is provided here.
All permanent plus some short term vacancies are publicised
freely on this website.
The
State Government is mainly responsible for matters like
police, schools, roads, hospitals, public housing and business
regulation.A extremely comparable framework to the Commonwealth
Government is noticed in the State Government, that is headed by a
Premier. Positions in the State Government are situated all over the
Northern Territory with the majority based in Adelaide
.
A listing of the government's departments and agencies is
accessible here.
All permanent as well as some non permanent vacancies are
listed widely on this this

Local
governments assist the state and are generally in the form
of a council or shire. They are accountable for town planning, building
works, local roads, parking, water and sewerage, waste disposal,
domestic animals and community facilities. A council is headed by a
Mayor. Local government places of work are found in each and every
council or shire within the state.
A list of South Australian councils is available here.
